First mixtape: Classic African guitar vibes!

My first mixtape features some magic moments by the great African guitar maestros from Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Zimbabwe and other swell places. The mixtape features tracks by Chief Stephen Osita Osadebe, F. Kenya, Leonard Dembo and Daniel Owino Misiani among others. And naturally, it starts with the band that gave me my dj name, Orchestra Super Mazembe. Enjoy!

Birth of another blog

Hello fellow explorers of Blogistan! This blog has been created first and foremost to support my Soundcloud page where I will attempt to post mixtapes regularly. Those mixtapes will be posted here as well. Time will tell if there will be any extra material included in this blog.

I collect non-Western and non-English language music from past decades. African music and Soviet era music from Russia and Eastern Europe are two of my specialities. I live in Helsinki.
